My Stoger P350

We recently bought a stoger p350. It is a 12 ga shotgun. We bought it to shoot clay pigeons. Here we are using the gun.

Benjamin's Baptism

We are at the sage building for Benjamin's baptism. It was a good experience for us. Dave was there with his new wife and his parents. I think that it was a good experience for them also.

Flock Browser

I am trying out a new internet browser called Flock. It is based on the mozilla framework so it is like Firefox (my browser of choice for going on ten years now).  The difference of Flock is it is links to all my social media sites. So I have my twitter feed and Facebook feed on a side bar.  There is also a blog editor thus the blog post.  So far it has worked quite well and the social media is a nice addition to a browser.

Here is a collage of the boating pictures that we took at Navajo Lake, near Farmington, New Mexico. As you can see we had fun. Daniel said that it was terrifying. Everyone else loved it.

Emalie's First Temple Trip

Can you see the smile on her face? Emalie was so excited to get to go to the temple. By the time we were done she wanted to go again the next day. She wanted to go so bad for her birthday. Partly because it was her birthday and she was 12 and also because both of her Grandpas were working in the temple that day.

Time to start a new year

Well it has been only a few months since my last post. Must be a record. Right now the kids are playing Star Wars Lego 2. So while I sat here I thought I would post to my blog. I have made it to church every month now for three months. I am glad to be fulfilling my goals.

In an atempt to feel better Lynn and I are doing a juice fast. It has been an experience and a half. Once the toxins start moving out my kidneys revolt and hurt a lot. Lynn has had a dificult time as well. We sure hope that it makes a diffence.

We are dog sitting for grandma Applegate. We think James will miss little girl when she goes home.

Saturday after a long week

We started this week off with church. I had made the goal to go once a month. Aubrè was singing with the young women. It was a cute song and it was worth making the effort to get to church. But the week since has been so rough. I had planned to take the rest of the week to recoup from going to church. But evey time I would stop to rest the world would fall apart. So I would hit the floor running in the morning and not stop till seven or eight at night. So now I am beat. We took Laura birthday shopping on Thursday and planned to be back by noon but we did not get back until almost four. I am resting now but I keep wanting to get up and help. Lynn and the children are cleaning to get ready for Sunday. I am lucky to have such an understanding wife.

Why am I crushed?

I have had the most horrifying experience.
It broke my heart. I can't cope.
I am destroyed on the inside.
I have not slept well since it happened.
And I am not allowed to talk to anyone about it.

What am I to do?

My trust in a valued friend is gone.
The more I try to forget the more I remember.
This pain is exquisite to bear.
I am broken, shattered, and lost in pain.
And I can not talk to anyone about it.

What am I to do?

Someone save me from my pain.
I look to God and He comforts me.
Yet, my wounds go so deep.
My soul is bleeding.
And I can not talk to anyone about it.

What am I to do?

I want to run, to nowhere.
Flee, flee for my soul.
Leave a trail of blood and tears.
So I will be the only one suffering.
And I can not talk to anyone about it.

What am I to do?

See my pain and pity me!
May this pass in time.
Let my trust return.
I WANT MY FRIEND BACK!!
