Emalie's First Temple Trip
Can you see the smile on her face? Emalie was so excited to get to go to the temple. By the time we were done she wanted to go again the next day. She wanted to go so bad for her birthday. Partly because it was her birthday and she was 12 and also because both of her Grandpas were working in the temple that day.

Time to start a new year
In an atempt to feel better Lynn and I are doing a juice fast. It has been an experience and a half. Once the toxins start moving out my kidneys revolt and hurt a lot. Lynn has had a dificult time as well. We sure hope that it makes a diffence.
We are dog sitting for grandma Applegate. We think James will miss little girl when she goes home.

Saturday after a long week

Why am I crushed?
It broke my heart. I can't cope.
I am destroyed on the inside.
I have not slept well since it happened.
And I am not allowed to talk to anyone about it.
What am I to do?
My trust in a valued friend is gone.
The more I try to forget the more I remember.
This pain is exquisite to bear.
I am broken, shattered, and lost in pain.
And I can not talk to anyone about it.
What am I to do?
Someone save me from my pain.
I look to God and He comforts me.
Yet, my wounds go so deep.
My soul is bleeding.
And I can not talk to anyone about it.
What am I to do?
I want to run, to nowhere.
Flee, flee for my soul.
Leave a trail of blood and tears.
So I will be the only one suffering.
And I can not talk to anyone about it.
What am I to do?
See my pain and pity me!
May this pass in time.
Let my trust return.
I WANT MY FRIEND BACK!!

Mac Journal
It has been quite an interesting week. We were not very busy until Friday when we had as many orders as we had had from the rest of the week.
I have been working on the Ward calendar all week and I hope I will have it ready for Sunday. I still need to call all the leadership for the ward to get all the dates necessary but at least I am starting on it.
I have still not gotten the Mac Pro fixed. We are still waiting for parts. I hope it is soon I am having a hard time not getting to use my “powerful machine.“

A Sunday of trials!
We began by trying to help Katheryne finish her talk for primary. Because we tried all week and had got nowhere she was fustrated and all she could do is cry. We pushed through and got her talk done.
Then we told the children to get their clothes out of the dryer and get dressed. But when they checked the dryer had not been turned on and all of their clothes were still wet.
The next trial was Daniel and Laura fighting and they pushed a bookcase over and it crashed down into the den. Somehow there was a 6 pound jar of honey that was smashed and covered the floor. We had to move the couch and unload and move the game cabinent. Needless to say we did not make it to church.
After a while Aubrè came in and said I think Loppy ( our male rabbit) is dead. So we went out and checked and he was dead allong with one of Flaherty's rabbits. The children were devistated. We have not yet told her that her rabbit is dead she will probably freak out.
Holpfully the day will go better from here on out.

Time flies
but that has failed. I guess that is what repentance is for.
Scott (Elder James) called from the airport in Georgia. It was fun for
everyone to get to say hello to him.
Well I did not finish this entry yesterday. So I will continue with
today. This morning I went out to look at our plants and trees and at
the bottom of the cherry tree lay a coiled sleeping rattlesnake.
Because it was so close to the house I decided it needed to be
disposed of. After I got a shovel I could not bring myself to get
close enough to kill it. So we called Walker over to kill the snake.
Which it did with no quams about it.
After the snake incident Lynn went out to check on the tomatos and
they grew two to three inches. Then Laura and Daniel sat and counted
the "baby" tomatos.

Swinging in the hammock
cold winter that we have spent more time indoors than out. Usually by
mid May we have been wearing shorts for weeks and spend more time
outdoors. We are just now getting into spending time outside. We just
set up our hammocks and everyone is thinking about setting up the
swimming pool
In seminary we finished Isaiah. Today we started Jerimiah. Every time
I would give a reference someone would break out in "Jerimiah was a
bullfrog."
Business has slowed down this week which is rough. I would like to
find a way to help stimulate orders but that would take me from the
office and everyone that could take my place has just left. So I feel
alone in running the office I have lots of help just I need to be
there and can't walk away.

Mobile Blogging
Today I started out the day by teaching seminary for Jessica. We
studied Isaiah 36 to 47. Those chapters talk about idol worship and
showed how idol worship will get you nowhere.
When I got home from seminary Lynn said that her dad was ready to buy
sod for their courtyard. So we went into Home Depot and bought 4
palates of sod. Now the James' have a very nice place. Now if only the
wind will stop (it has been blowing upto 70 mph).

Long time again!
We have really gotten into the habit of reading to the children instead of watching TV. We are almost done with Eragon, Aubre and Emalie beg to read now. They won't let us stop reading and now beg to read whenever there is a spare moment.
Things are going well. I was feeling so much better for a while, but now I have taken a turn for the worse. I keep looking on the bright side that I was doing better, and hope that this change is only temporary.
